Located across from the Kunlun Hotel, the Jia Yi Market is easy to find. Differing from the Sanlitun Market and Silk Alley, it is an indoor market and therefore a very comfortable shopping experience on a hot summer. Deep into the market is Linlin's House, a store specializing silver jewelry.

Linlin's store, is, tiny but unique. Upon entering it, you will notice the meticulous manner with black cobblestone scattered.

As a graduate of the Tianjin Art & Design Technology Institute, Linlin is a talented young woman who designs are simple, yet eye-catching ornaments herself.

Linlin's favorite outfit is all kinds of black one-piece dress, resembling her designs, simple but attrative. Sometimes customers in her store even ask where they can buy a similar dress.

Though the store is just two-month-old, Linlin has made many friends with her customers who range from twenty to fifty. Often girls will come by the store just to visit her rather than to shop.

Linlin put some candies in colorful bottles for visitors to take a pick if they want.

Another reason behind Linlin's success is the reasonable price of creations. Linlin said, she doesn't like bargaining with her guests. As all the ornaments are hand-made, the price is a little higher but reasonable.

Her store is also very popular with foreigners due in part ot her no-bargaining policy.

Linlin also makes pieces by request. So if you like a ring but doesn't fit it, don't worry., Linlin can make one in your size. Linlin said, she opens the store mainly to make friends, earning money is here second consideration.

She hopes one day she will open a bigger store, where she may chat with her guests with coffee in hand. Combining a jewelry store with a cafe will allow her to meet even more people.
