| Swatch group makes souvenir watch for 2008 Olympics (12/17/2003) | |

The Swiss-based Swatch Group, the world's biggest watch maker, displayed its first set of souvenir watch for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games here Tuesday. Priced at 1,680 yuan (202 US dollars), the set include one watch with dragon outlines, a red watchcase and watchband featuring Chinese culture. Total supply will be limited to 4,999 sets around the world. As the officially-appointed timekeeper for the 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, Swatch is famous for its colorful style. |
