Crystal Butterfly

| Maybe even better than the real thing (ok, not really but it's a U2 joke anyway), Crystal Butterfly can't be missed. The trio has been brightening up the generally dim local rock scene for a while and mostly performs cover songs of U2, The Cure, Radiohead and other British bands. Rock fans dig their sophisticated and melodic modern rock.

SGT's Saturday Popular Concert

| These Saturday afternoon concerts at the Shanghai Grand Theatre are not only inexpensive, they're well worth every mao you do pay. On Mar 20, the China Welfare Institute Children's Palace will perform; on Mar 27, the stage will turn for a Kun Opera special set by Shanghai Kun Opera Troupe.

Jing'an Weekend Chamber Concert

| End your weekend on a high note with a chamber concert at Jing'an Hotel. The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra continues its weekend series with a selection of masterworks from the likes of Rachmaninov, Ravel, Brahms and Saint-Saens.
